Karen G. Anderson, who writes speculative fiction as K. G. Anderson, was a member of the Clarion West board (former President) (2009-2017), attended Viable Paradise 17, and has written articles for Locus. She lives in Seattle with her partner, Tom Whitmore.

She has been on the concom for Foolscap since 2009 and has been on the concom for Potlatch. She organized the dance program for LoneStarCon 3 (The 2013 World Science Fiction Convention), for which she received a Hero Award.
