Jon Bing

(1944 -- January 14, 2014)

Bing was a Norwegian fan and pro who worked as a law professor. He was a GoH at Intervention, the 1997 Eastercon and at Intercon in 1994. Along with his friend Tor-Aage Bringsvaerd, Bing founded present-day Norwegian fandom and was also a professional, editing many anthologies, creating and (from 1967-1980) editing the sf line of the leading Norwegian publisher Gyldendal. He also wrote novels.
