(December 18, 1986 --)

Johan Jönsson appeared in Swedish fandom as a student at Uppsala University a few years into the 2000s and quicky established himself both as an excellent writer and as an enthusiastic convention both arranger and speaker. Although he has occasionally contributed to fanzines, most of his fan writing has been published online, where his "Internet fanzine" "Vetsaga" (a word that can be translated as "scince fairy tale", in the 1950s proposed as a Swedish term for "science fiction") started in 2006; he is also active on a blog called "Tystnad" ("Silence"). His perhaps primary format is the essayistic, thoughful convention report; uniquely, in 2016 he published his first numerous con reports in book format with 331 pages of text including an introduction by John-Henri Holmberg, starting a small publishing house to do so. He has since continued the publishing house, Vendel, and so far issued a dozen titles, though all but one are non-sf.

Johan Jönsson has worked on numerous conventions over the last fifteen years, primarily on those held in Uppsala and on the annual Åland summer conventions.

Professionally, he is an international Wikipedia editor, was long the spokespersoon for Swedish Wikipedia and in 2022 published a second book, Wikipedia inifrån (Wikipedia from the Inside).
