(June 26, 1930 -- )

A Midwest fan who was founder of the BSAW and one of the founders of the Michigan Science Fantasy Society and a member of the CFG and attended some of the earliest Midwestcons. He was owner of Outhouse Publications, and edited and published Ice, Hallucinations, Halberd, Harlan Ellison -- the Man, the Writer, and AJ1736. in the 50s, he claimed to have the Second Largest Collection of porn in Detroit. He was a member of FAPA and SAPS. He was originator of the First World Invitational Convention (InVention), in Minneapolis in 1952. Married to Nancy Shapiro. He ran for TAFF in 1956.
