Good Old Days

Back when fen were fen and they had to pub their ish with hecto. That they made themselves. On their mother's stove. After walking a mile barefoot in the snow to the post office to get their only LoC on their last ish. Uphill. Both ways. With barbed wire wrapped around their feet so they wouldn't slip on the ice. Because they were the only fan in the county. And they had to hide that Buck Rogers Stuff under their bed so their mother wouldn't burn it out back with the rest of the "trash."
