Super-Con-Duck-Tivity presented three Golden Duck awards annually from 1992 to 2017.

The Picture Book Award was presented for science fiction books written for very young children. The Eleanor Cameron Award for Middle Grades was given for science fiction books aimed at children between second and sixth grade. The Hal Clement Young Adult Award was given for science fiction books aimed at sixth through twelfth grades. On occasion, the group presented Special Awards for works or individuals who did not fit in any of the standard categories.

The awards were presented at Worldcon or NASFiC by the organization, which also ran Chicagoland's DucKon convention. Winners were selected by a group of teachers, librarians, parents, high tech workers and reviewers.
