Genericon IV was held was held April 8-10, 1988 at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. GoHs were Pamela Sargent, George Zebrowski, Charles Pellegrino, Hal Clement, Jack Dann, and Alan Meltzer.
