Fool-Con II was held March 31-April 1, 1979 at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS. They did not announce a GoH, but announced as "guests" C. L. Moore, Catherine Crook de Camp, L. Sprague de Camp, Tim Kirk, C. J. Cherryh, Pat Cadigan, Arnie Fenner, and Carl Sherrel. The toastmaster was C. J. Cherryh.
