(1966 -- )

Erik V. Olson is a con-running fan living in the Midwest (St Louis and Chicago, mostly). He chaired Smofcon 21 and Capricon 31 and worked on numerous other regionals and Worldcons. He was a founding member of Midfan (MFCI) and sat on its Board. For many years, he was recognizable by a trademark red fedora he wore at conventions.

See How to Start a Worldcon Bid in 24 Hours or Less.
