Ed Cagle was mainly a fanzine fan who lived in Kansas. Though he was also known as being a one-man Phone Fandom, he met few fans in person. He was married to Sue Cagle. He edited Kwalhioqua and was co-editor of Shambles.

There was a short eulogy by Dave Locke in File 770 26, p. 4.
