It was published as a companion to Marvel Science Stories, edited by Robert O. Erisman. The editor of Dynamic Science Stories was uncredited, but was also Robert O. Erisman.

SF authors who appeared included Stanton Coblentz, L. Sprague de Camp, Manly Wade Wellman, Eando Binder, and Nelson S. Bond, writing under his Hubert Mavity pseudonym. Cover art was by Paul and Norman Saunders.

There was one issue of a British edition, also in 1939.
