Disclave 42

Disclave 42 was scheduled for May 22-25, 1998 (Memorial Day Weekend), but as a result of the Disclave Flood at Disclave 41, didn't happen. Not long after Disclave 41, the hotel informed Joe Mayhew, the lucky chairman who had to try to pick up the pieces, that it would not accept the convention back. No other hotel was willing to host the convention at an acceptable price, so the convention was cancelled, ending Disclave. The GoHs were Terry Bisson, Gene Wolfe and Nicholas Jainschigg.
