DeepSouthCon 24 (also known as L&N DSC) was held September 26–28, 1986, in Louisville, KY. Attendance was 570. It was chaired by Sue Francis (Louisville) and Ken Moore (Nashville). The Rebel Award winner was John A. R. Hollis and Andrew J. Offutt won the Phoenix Award. David Hartwell was GoH, Ann Layman Chancellor was Fan GoH, and Alex Schomburg was Artist GoH. Somtow Sucharitkul was MC.
