DeepSouthCon 15, AKA B'hamacon 1, was a convention held August 26-28, 1977 in Birmingham, AL. Michael Bishop was the GoH and Charlie and Dena Brown were the Fan GoHs. The Rebel Award went to Cliff Biggers and Susan Biggers and the Phoenix Award went to GoH Michael Bishop.

Attendance was 340. It was chaired by Penny Frierson. Hank Reinhardt was the MC.

A book of Bishop's poetry, titled Poetry Book was given to the con's first 100 advance members.

Site selection for the 1978 DSC was between Atlanta (74 votes), Chattanooga (48 votes) and Costa Mesa, CA (10 votes).
