David Grigg, a Melbourne fan, founded the Melbourne University Science Fiction Association and its clubzine, Yggdrasil, in 1970. He organized The Harding Fund.

Grigg was a member of the Melbourne in '85 committee, and chair of Aussiecon 2, taking over from John Foyster who had to resign. He was GoH at ARCon.

He designed the board game FANAC!
