Ish became active during Seventh Fandom in the 50s and began publishing the fanzine Sol in 1951. He gafiated shortly after publishing "The Fantasy People" (a fictionalized account of the 1956 Worldcon, Nycon II) in New World Writing in 1956. He also published Crifapac.
