Westercon 42 (called Conosaurus*) was held June 30-July 4, 1989 at the Aneheim Marriot Hotel, in Anaheim, CA. GoH: John Varley; FGoH: Arthur Hlavaty. Chaired by Lex Nakashima and sponsored by SCIFI. Patrice Cook and been co-chairman but dropped off. It had about 2500 attendees.
