(September 12, 1942 – September 15, 2006)

Charles Lewis Grant, an SF and fantasy novelist and short story writer, specialized in what he called "dark fantasy" and "quiet horror." He also wrote under the pseudonyms of Geoffrey Marsh, Simon Lake, Felicia Andrews, Deborah Lewis and Lionel Fenn. As Fenn, Grant wrote the Kent Montana, the Quest For The White Duck, and the Diego series of stories.

He edited the award-winning Shadows anthology, running 11 volumes from 1978–1991.
