A convocation of fans that took place in Chicago October 12–13, 1946, at the Fort Dearborn Hotel and Erle Korshak's house. Twenty-five attendees, including Korshak, C. M. Kornbluth, Bob Tucker, Bob Bloch, Fritz Leiber and Oliver Saari spent the weekend criticizing the N3F and listening to E. E. Smith talk about his works in progress.
