Carrie B. Tabakow was pictured as a member of the Cincinnati Fantasy Group in the 1949 Cinvention program book, named only as “Mrs. Lou Tabakow.” She was present at Doc Barrett’s post-con party, the ur-Midwestcon. She attended other Midwestcons and conventions, though it’s unclear whether she had any interest in sf or fandom in her own right or merely accompanied her husband.
