(April 18, 1930 – May 14, 1989)

A New York fan and publisher active starting in the mid-1950s. He worked with Bhob Stewart to produce the movie magazine Castle of Frankenstein. He later was an actor.

According to Noël Carter, Beck was part of Robert Bloch’s inspiration for the character of Norman Bates in Psycho.
