(1901 -- February 1963)

A fan who joined the National APA in 1911! In civilian life, he was a reporter for the New York Times and was later in charge of its Tokyo office. (While he was in Tokyo, he was popular there as a recording artist specializing in popular tunes.)

While he was somewhat of a fringe fan, he was a member of FAPA 1946-1952. He co-edited Unspeakable Thing with Helen Wesson when they were bth in Japan. He was also involved with the N3F, developing a proposed constitution in 1946.
