Boskone 23was held February 14-16, 1986 at the Sheraton Boston. The GoH was Robert Bloch, the Official Artist was Bob Eggleton and the Special Guest was Tom Doherty. It was chaired by Mark Olson and attendance was 3919.

Boskone moved to the Sheraton Boston after the Copley Marriott declined to renew its contract, and continued to grow rapidly (and there were probably at least 500 people, mostly high school kids, who attended the convention without registering. The convention -- barely -- made it through the weekend without serious incident. See Rise and Fall of the Giant Boskones for more.

The Boskone book was Out of My Head, a collection of stories by Robert Bloch.
