SF historian and author William Bond Warren was known primarily for his two-volume survey of 1950s SF cinema, Keep Watching the Skies! The first volume was published by McFarland & Company in 1982. Volume 2 followed in 1986. A "21st Century Edition" came out in 2016.

He edited 15 issues of Bill Rotsler's fanzine Masque, and, with Allan Rothstein, wrote the recursive SF murder mystery Fandom Is a Way of Death (1984).

Born in Oregon, he lived in Los Angeles and joined LASFS in 1966. He was married to Beverly Warren.
