Born in Oregon, SF historian Bill Warren was known primarily for his two-volume survey of 1950s SF cinema, Keep Watching the Skies!. The first volume was published by McFarland & Company in 1982. Volume 2 followed in 1986. A "21st Century Edition" of KWTS! has been announced. He edited fifteen issues of Bill Rotsler's fanzine Masque.
