Baycon 2017 was held May 26-29, 2017 at the San Mateo Marriott San Francisco Airport in San Mateo, CA. The theme was "Dystopia/Utopia". Author GoH was Daniel Abraham, Artist GoH was Daniel Dociu, Fan GoH was Christine Doyle, Special Podcast Guests were Sword and Laser, and Toastmaster was Ty Franck. Co-chairs were Chris Castro and James Konijn. The con's charity was Variety, the Children's Charity of Northern California.
