It was used as an overflow hotel for Noreascon Three in 1989, but more importantly its location permitted it to host Boxboro Fandom's 5-night Louis Wu's Birthday Party, the party at Noreascon Three. It also (rather awkwardly) hosted Smofcon 35 thirty years later.
