ArmadaCon 99 was held November 12-14, 1999 at the Copthorne Hotel, in Plymouth, UK. The GoHs were Stephen Baxter, Michael Sheard (an actor), and Lionel Fanthorpe.
The numbering system was changed from the previously traditional roman numbers (the previous one had been ArmadaCon X) because the theme of the convention was Space 1999.
