Arlin Robins is an artist was born and raised in the Chicago area who earned a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at the Art Institute of Chicago. Since then she has been living in northern California, near San Francisco. She created the base for the 1993 Hugo Award trophy and the Robert A. Heinlein Award medallion.
