Ardath Mayhar

(1930 – 2012)

Ardath Frances Hurst Mayhar was an American writer and poet who began writing SF in 1979 after returning with her family to Texas from Oregon.

• 1989 -- New Orleans SF & Fantasy Festival '89
• 2008 -- SFWA Author Emeritus
• nominated for the Mark Twain Award.
