Arcana 38 was held October 17-19, 2008 at the Best Western Hotel Bandana Square in St. Paul, MN. The GoH was F. Paul Wilson.
The 2008 Minnesota Fantasy Award was presented to P. C. Hodgell. The posthumous award was awarded to Wilford Fawcett (aka Captain Billy).
