Alternacon was held in place of Norwescon on March 26-29, 1987 at the Hyatt Hotel in SeaTac, WA. The GoH was Orson Scott Card, the Artist GoH was Dan Reeder, while Marty Cantor and Robbie Cantor were Fan GoH. It was chaired by Robert Suryan, the toastmaster was David Hartwell and attendance was something under 1700.
