A Bay Area fan who co-chaired Pacificon II, the 1964 Worldcon. He was an active member of the Elves, Gnomes, and Little Men's Chowder, Science Fiction, and Marching Society and edited several issues of Rhodomagnetic Digest. He also chaired Westercon 16. He was a member of the unsuccessful Berkeley in '67 Westercon bid.
