The 5th World Fantasy Convention was a convention held October 12-14, 1979 at the Biltmore Hotel in Providence, RI. The GoHs were Stephen King and Frank Belknap Long and Michael Whelan was Guest Artist. The theme was "Reunion", Charles L. Grant was toastmaster and it was chaired by Bob Booth.
