The 15th World Fantasy Convention was held in 1989 at the Seattle Sheraton, Seattle, WA. The GoHs were Ursula K. LeGuin, Avram Davidson, S. P. Somtow, Robert R. McCammon, and Yoshitaka Amano. The theme was "Roots of Fantasy: Myth, Folklore & Archetype", the toastmaster was Ginjer Buchanan and it was chaired by Robert J. Doyle.
