There are other Morton Handlers born around this time, notably one from Brooklyn.
As for the Chicago fan, the Chicago and North Western Railroad hired him in 1953 as a telegrapher, and he appears to have retired in an Evanston condo (719 Emerson St 1E) which was most recently sold in 2018.
