A club associated with the Melbourne Science Fiction Group. Fl. 1966.

Paul J. Stevens once rented the Astor Theatre in St Kilda for a showing of Flash Gordon serials. A dispute between the projectionist of that theatre and the projectionist for the films resulted in the booked theatre not being of use. Eventually a private theatrette in Toorak was used. (This incident is described by John Bangsund in a 1968 piece reprinted in Kangaroo Feathers 1, and was also remembered by Merv Binns on the occasion of his being presented the Peter McNamara Achievement Award at Continuum 11 in 2015.)

Club
This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.

When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can!
