British Fanzine Bibliography
The British Fanzine Bibliography is a website listing bibliographic detail for all known UK fanzines up to 2000. Its content incorporates earlier printed versions, albeit updated.
The material is grouped into six sections reflecting its publishing origins.
1. 1931-50: Compiled by Peter Roberts and originally published as a booklet in May 1977.
2. 1951-60: Compiled by Peter Roberts and originally published as a booklet in January 1978.
3. 1961-70: Compiled by Peter Roberts and originally published as a booklet in June 1979.
4. 1971-80: Started by Peter Roberts and completed by Vin¢ Clarke with substantial help from Rob Hansen and the assistance of Ian Maule, Joseph Nicholas, Sandra Bond, Skel, Mike Meara, Steve Sneyd and others. Published in 1991.
5. 1981-90: Compiled by Vin¢ Clarke and Rob Hansen and first made available online.
6. 1991-2000: Compiled by Rob Hansen from material supplied by Greg Pickersgill and Mark Plummer and first made available online.
The current online incarnation is updated as new information comes to light and so the contents no longer entirely reflects the original printed versions. Where possible the information has been verified against the fanzines themselves but there has been some use of secondary sources. Rob Hansen acknowledges Bill Evans & Bob Pavlat's Fanzine Index as an additional source for the pre-1952 material.
