The Resurgence of Trout is the current Glasgow Science Fiction group which began after a group of fans got together after Interaction in 2005. This group decided to revive the long-running Glasgow Science Fiction group Friends of Kilgore Trout which had fallen into limbo for a few years. The name came about when one fan turned up on the first night and asked "Is this the resurgence of Trout?" The group meets on the second Thursday of the month and can currently be found in The Society Rooms in West Regent St, Glasgow.
