or AUSSIEFAN An Australian fan, o'course. There are New Zealand ones, too, distinguished as Kiwifans. It's a designation of location today, but just after World War II when the Sydney Futurians admitted foreign members they actually called their organization the Auslans (a name coined by Sterling Macoboy). Readers of German will dig the double pun.
