George R. Paczolt was a fan from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He published Meeper Blue, chaired the Johnstown in 83 hoax bid for the Worldcon, and participated in costuming with his first wife, Sally Fink. He suggested an ongoing masquerade committee for Worldcons in The Kennedy Compendium (1981). In recent years, he has responded extensively on Quora to questions about motorcycles, bicycling, and other subjects, in some of which he discusses his past in sf fandom. He is a widower and lives in Virginia with several motorcycles and bicycles.
