(1938[1] – )
Edwin 'Eddie' White was a fan from Birmingham, UK active in the 1950s. He was a member of Operation Fantast and in a 1953 newsletter was seeking local contacts and people interested in trading paperbacks.
An 'E. White' from Birmingham was a member of the Supermancon in 1954 but it's not known if he attended. An 'Eddie White' attended Cytricon in 1955 although he wasn't on the membership list so we don't know where he was from. And an 'Eddie White' contributed a poem to Andromeda #11 (June 1955).
It is however entirely possible that the Supermancon member and the Cytricon attendee aren't the same person.
____
- ↑ He was 15-years-old in 1953 according to an Operation Fantast newsletter.
