Hero was a fanzine edited by Ray Fawcett of Croydon in the UK in the 1960s. It was devoted to heroic fantasy in books and comics and the first and likely only issue costs 2/-.

Details are a little sketchy. David Griffiths reviewed the first issue in Gothique #6 (October 1966). He said that it was, 'very ambitious but seems to lack character and is presented rather routine.' The artwork was 'very poor' and an article on Michael Moorcock was let down by persistently referring to a character called 'Erlic'. Nevertheless, 'it deserves to succeed' said Griffiths.

The absence of any references to a second issue suggest that it didn't.
