Jersey is the largest of the Channel Islands and an autonomous self-governing British Crown Dependency between England and France. It has hosted three EasterconsContrivance (1989), Helicon/Eurocon 16 (1993) and Helicon 2 (2002) – as well as the food-focused Soupçon in 1991 and Smofcon 10 in 1993, one week after Helicon.

There was some controversy when a Jersey site was chosen to host the 1989 Eastercon as the island is not part of the UK.

Conventions have all used the Hotel de France in the the capital St. Helier. Among other things it's remembered for the on-site chocolate shop that would also sell 5kg bars of chocolate to fans.
