Octothorpe is a biweekly 'podcast about science fiction and SF fandom' produced by Britons John Coxon, Alison Scott and Liz Batty.

The first episode was released on 24 March 2020, the day after the first UK Covid-19 lockdown. Its 100th episode was released on 4 January 2024. Episodes have been recorded live at Eastercons and Novacon in the UK and there have been occasional guest hosts including Marguerite Smith and Sandra Bond.

Octothorpe was a finalist for the Best Fancast Hugo in 2022 and 2023, winning in 2024. In 2022 it was shortlisted for the BSFA Award for non-fiction despite it being clearly ineligible as the category definition refers to '...any written work about science fiction and/or fantasy'[1].
