Jeddicon was a Worldcon bid for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, chaired by Yasser Bahjatt and proposed on a weekend near May 4, 2022. It lost to Chicago in 2022 (Chicon 8) by 517 votes to 33, amid concerns about Saudi Arabia's human rights record.

The same committee decided to run again for 2026, and in 2022 moved the bid to Cairo, Egypt as PharaohCon, but withdrew in 2023, reportedly after failing to secure Egypt government's permission.
