(September 1, 1938 – July 1, 2007)

Virginia Frances “Djinn” Faine (later Dickson, then Russell) was an LA-area fan who was a member of LASFS in the ’50s and ’60s and editor of Shangri L'Affaires in the late 1950s. She belonged to SAPS in the late 1940s.

She wrote at least one sf story, "Daughter of Eve" (F&SF, June 1962).

She was married to Gordon R. Dickson from 1959–61, then living in Minnesota. She married Robert H. Russell in Nevada next, and apparently gafiated.
