Bibliographer Neil Barron published five editions of his bibliography/reference work Anatomy of Wonder: A Critical Guide to Science Fiction (1976–2004), which was nominated for the 1982 Best Non-Fiction Book Hugo and the 1988 Best Non-Fiction Book Hugo. Barron was also the founder and first editor of Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Review 1979–80, and edited again when it was revived by the SFRA in 1982–83.
After publishing the final edition of Anatomy of Wonder, Barron dropped out of the community. He died in Las Vegas, NV.
