GoH: Frederick Pohl, Special Guests: Ben Bova, Tanya Huff, Elizabeth Anne Hull, Nancy Kress, Pamela Sargent, Josepha Sherman, Mary Stanton, S. M. Stirling, Timothy Zahn and George Zebrowski. A featured program item was the first “What Line’s Mine?” game-show style panel where authors, and one fan, had to identify who among the guests penned a sentence. A popular panel concept, especially when the authors did not recognize their own words or when recurrent themes in their work was highlighted, this panel appeared at every subsequent Contradiction and was carried over to Eeriecon as well.
