(Did you mean a different Nebula?)

An award given by SFWA since 1966. (Unlike the Hugo Awards, the date of the award is for the year the work was published, not the year the award is given.) The awards are nominated and voted on by members of the association.

The Nebula for Best Game Writing was introduced in 2019. There was a Best Script award given in 1974–1978 and 2000–2007 which was changed to the Ray Bradbury Award For Outstanding Dramatic Presentation in 2008. The Andre Norton Award for Young Adult Science Fiction and Fantasy has been presented since 2005.

Other awards presented at the Nebula ceremony include the SFWA Grand Master Award, the Kate Wilhelm Solstice Award, and the Kevin O'Donnell, Jr. Service To SFWA Award.

Ray Bradbury Award for Outstanding Dramatic Presentation[edit]

The Ray Bradbury Award (full name "Ray Bradbury Award for Outstanding Dramatic Presentation") is presented by the SFWA to recognize excellence in screen writing. Originally presented in 1992 and given for specific work, the award was not presented annually and was dormant from 2001 through 2008, when it was presented for a body of work rather than an individual work.

Starting with the 2009 award, the Nebula Award for Best Script was eliminated and the Bradbury Award given in its place. While no longer a Nebula, the award is presented at the Nebula Awards Ceremony and follows Nebula rules and procedures. (Unlike the Hugo Awards, as with the Nebula Awards, the year of the award is for the year prior to the year the award is actually given.)

In 2019, it was announced that the Ray Bradbury Award For Outstanding Dramatic Presentation is officially a Nebula Award.
